This Day In History (October 13th): The Steiners win 6th WCW World Tag Team Championship

On this day in professional wrestling history (October 13th, 1997), WCW presented Episode #109 of Monday Nitro from the Ice Palace in Tampa, Florida.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick & Scott Steiner) defeated Scott Hall & Syxx (substituting for Kevin Nash) to win their sixth WCW World Tag Team Championship.

Their sixth reign would last a little over three months as they would lose the titles back to The Outsiders on the January 12th, 1998 episode of Monday Night.
